Moreover, users gain access to the complete Period of PURPLE Crying video along with the informative Crying, Soothing, and Coping: Doing What Comes Naturally video series.

Developed in collaboration with Dr. Ronald G. Barr, a distinguished developmental pediatrician renowned for his extensive research on infant crying behaviors, this evidence-based program is an initiative of the National Center on Shaken Baby Syndrome (NCSBS).

Widely distributed across an array of healthcare settings such as hospitals, home visitation programs, US military services, pediatric practices, and public health offices post childbirth; the Period of PURPLE Crying app can be obtained by inquiring with your healthcare provider for a complimentary activation code. For those whose healthcare provider does not offer access to the initiative, reaching out to NCSBS at purple@dontshake.org would be instrumental in acquiring the application for personal use.
